Memory is large
harboring an ancient forest
of timeless trees
an ocean of vast waves
Generosity is smart
as a wizened, old owl
Fear is as prescient
like foreboding dream
clear and focused
and rather like
a collie mining sheep
on the border of
a grove dominated by wolves
Honesty is plain truth
spilled forward from a cup
filled with simple innocence
Conscience cannot lie
instead it reaches over
with its clever grip
and cackles the truth...
